Dentist & Co-Founder, Eastern Dental Group
Dr Richard Gysberts earned his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne in 1986 and began practising in Wantirna South in 1987, maintaining a clinic committed to the highest standard of care for close to four decades. In 2011, he opened a purpose-built, state-of-the-art clinic to support that standard of care, now home to Eastern Dental Group.
Richard completed his Branemark Osseointegration Implant training in 1994, giving him a special interest in crown and bridge and dental implant treatment, alongside general dental care for the whole family.
Richard is a member of the Australian Dental Association and served as Secretary to its Group H, covering Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, for three years. He remains committed to ongoing education, regularly attending courses both locally and overseas. Many of his patients are second generation, children he treated years ago now bring their own families in for care.
This connection to the community has allowed him to enjoy seeing children he has cared for now return with their own family looking to maintain more healthy smiles.
In 2011 a brand new state of the art clinic was opened in order to allow that standard to continue. Rick completed his Branemark Osseointegration Implant training in 1994 allowing him to develop a special interest in Crown and Bridge and Implant treatment along with all other aspects of General Dental care.
He is a member of the Australian Dental Association and served as Secretary to its Group H for three years covering the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and is committed to continued education and training, regularly attending courses here and overseas.
